What is included?

All units are fully furnished and stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. Rent also includes wifi and all utilities. We offer frequent resident happy hours too!

What flexibility do you have on start and end dates?

If you are flexible on building or exact unit, often we are more likely to be able to accommodate your preferred start and end date. We have more flexibility on lease start dates sometimes more than end dates--because of not being able to fill gaps from the last stay due to short term rental rules in Madison. You only pay for the days you stay. We believe in flexibility to make your stay as convenient as possible.

Do you offer lease renewals or month-to-month leases?

Unless you let us know you need a lease renewal, we will advertise your unit for the day after your lease ends. This helps us plan and offer units to those looking for them in the future. However, we strive to be flexible and serve you, so we offer lease renewal clauses (the ability to renew with a 30 day notice) for those residents who really need them.

What fees will I pay beyond monthly rent?

Beyond your monthly rent, you pay a refundable security deposit of $300. If you have a dog, you will also pay a $100 non-refundable pet deposit. If you opt for parking (relevant depending on the location), you will also pay separately for parking. Our application is free and there are no taxes included in stays of 30+ days.

Are you pet friendly?

Most locations allow one well-behaved dog per unit studio/1 bedroom and two well-behaved dogs per 2 bedroom/2 bedroom.

Do you prebook in advance?

Yes we are currently pre-booking for summer and fall, even if specific unit availability isn't always listed for summer and fall. Don't hesitate to reach out to hello@voyageurstays.com and we'll hook you up.

Do you ever do stays shorter than 30 days?

Yes! For The Wilson (126 East Wilson), we do stays of four days or more. Please inquire for rates.

What if I don't see what I'm looking for on your availability calendar?

Please reach out to hello@voyageurstays.com! If you are flexible on specific unit or building, we often can lease you a unit based on your preferred number of bedrooms. We'll then choose your specific unit later.

Do you have different rents seasonally?

Yes we have different rents seasonally. We have a winter rate (January/February), swing season rate (September through December and March through May), and summer rate (June through August). We often have last minute discounts too depending on occupancy and how close to move in date you are booking.

How many total units do you have?

We have fifty total units, which means we often can fulfill needs for specific dates or multiple units. This is especially true November through April.

What is your cancellation policy if I need to leave my lease early?

You can cancel with a 30 day written notice with no repercussions. Your lease is a legal document and you are responsible for rent for 30 days after providing a written notice of shortening your lease. If you plan to leave earlier than your 30 day notice, we will try to find another resident to fill your lease. If we can find another resident for all or some of the days within the 30 day window, we will refund you rent minus a $100 administrative fee. This helps us to have the time to find another tenant.

Do you offer group rates?

We do offer group rates for companies/organizations booking multiple units! Don't hesitate to reach out to hello@voyageurstays.com.

Do you offer specials for returning residents or referrals?

Yes! We offer a $100 rent credit if you are a returning resident. We also offer $100 if you refer someone who books with us!

Do you offer any discounts for longer term guests?

We offer discounts for people who stay a full year or an academic year (Late August/early September through early May).

Do you offer extra services?

Yes! One of the benefits of staying with us is a variety of concierge services and discounts on local Madison experiences. Need a desk or a twin bed in your unit? No problem? Need extra cleaning or laundry service? We got you covered? We even offer discounts on gyms, yoga studios, boat rentals, meal kits, and more.
